LIVING OFF GRID
By Christine Tailer

Saturday Seminar – Public Invited
August 19, 2017 10:30 AM

Christine Tailer (a trial lawyer) and Greg (her mechanical engineer husband) followed their dreams and traded 25 years of big city lifestyle for off grid living. They have learned to be self-sustainable by raising their own herbs, vegetables, fruit trees, chickens, goats, rabbits, ducks, pigeons and horses. They also have bee hives and produce their own honey, as well as tap sugar maple trees to make maple syrup.
Christine will cover how they moved from urban dwellers to energy independence, outlining the total cost and savings. She will share every aspect of their current lives, and describe how for the past 12 years they have lived an off-grid lifestyle with all the modern conveniences using solar and wind energy.
